I wanted to remind you all of the party this Saturday. Please confirm that you will be attending.
It will start in the Jockvale Gym at 4pm - we will then move to room 205 at Walter Baker for pizza, snacks, awards and fun! Please be sure to have running shoes (non marking soles) for the gym portion. We expect to be finished by 6:30.
Pizza will be provided by the team - the rest will be potluck. We will need everyone to volunteer to bring one of the things below. (2) indicates we need two families to bring them.
I will be providing the cake and need to know if there are any allergies. If you are bringing chips or anything like that, please bring a bowl or basket to put them in. Please reply to this email and let me know what you would like to bring - please provide a second choice in case your first has been already taken.
Water (2) - Daniel and Eric
Juice (2) - Ben and Joe
Chips (2) - Justin and Tommy
Pretzels/Cheesies or other snack (2) Zach and Austin
Veggies and Dip - Luca
Fruit tray
Paper plates (small and large) - Jack
plastic forks and napkins - Spencer
cheese and crackers
cake - Owen
I am sure you are wondering about refunds - we have not received our jersey deposit back. Once we receive it and all final team expenses (from the party) have cleared the bank account we will close it and issue refunds in cash. I will let everyone know when that is finished, although I expect it will be closer to the end of May.
Well it doesn't get much closer than that! Such a hard fought game, but in the end just wasn't enough to pull out the win!
Every Extreme Eagle should be so proud of themselves and how they played! It was a great effort by everyone!
So the bad news that hockey is over - but the good news is we still have something to look forward to in our great year end party that is being held on May 5th! Lots of fun still to be had!
A reminder that jersey's need to be delivered to my home (135 Flanders St, ASAP with hangers)
And in the very wise words of Dr. Seuss
"Don't Cry because it's over - Smile because it happened!"
So after a weekend of two important games, The Extreme Eagles came through, and pulled off the much needed win to advance us to the semi-finals!
We finished tied wiht 7 points, but due to our plus/minus we finish in second place!
Stay tuned for a practice ice and confirmation of when our semi-Final Game will be.
Well done Boys!

On Saturday be sure to set your clocks ahead one hour - and then be very thankful we don't have a 6am ice time on Sunday!

So as mentioned Owen wanted to dye is hair red for the playoffs...well here is the final result!
