Take away the first period....and this was a great game all around ! The Sharx just lacked getting anything going the First period,, ,half-hearted backchecking & defensive spirit, additional offensive sputterin -- Desperados scored 4 unanswered in first. The rest of the game was very entertaining, as commented by the Sharx biggest fan base to attend a game...close with back & forth play... Good Job SHARX !!!

What a Great game this was !! Game opening goal by Captain surefire Mogey from a pretty from Mosher !! The rest of the first period was marred somewhat,...penalties,.. and deflated the SHARX...and DAYTONA held a 4-1 lead after the first. The SHARX rallied nicely in the 2nd working hard. With a fresh slate of ice early in the 3rd, Newfoundland's finest ripped a "howitzer" just inside the blueline from the left wing spot ---the goalie didn't see the bullet, even though not a soul was in front of him. The 3rd thereon in was a big see-saw,... SHARX score...DAYTONA scores... A very close contest with SHARX showing signs of Playoff Prowess....!!!!

The Sharx had to keep the game a clean affair in order to not risk losing the only spare skater available --- in a penalty free game. Sharx also adapted to an unorthodox yet effective "stretch pass" set up, resulting in the bulk of the Sharx goals.....Landry netting a 4 goal game !!
Though it looks bleak for the Sharx making the last playoff spot,, a string of wins immediately would enhance that chance, and stranger things have happened with the franchise to make the playoffs....
NOTE: SHARX check you sched, you have TWO additional games marked in regular season early April
Eventual Exhaustion !!

The BlackSharx had a very short bench with 8 skaters, and coupled with Sharx being attacked with twice as many shots as they put out in the first , notwithstanding Lashcowski absolutely standing on his head in the first period ---- that first period sapped a lot of energy needed for the rest of the game. The whole game the Sharx were really snakebit at the few shots they did rip --- posts, crossbars or opponents skates and shinpads seemed more often the way the puck would travel. Some consolation was redeemed with an outstanding effort by Cameron for a battle to the puck along the boards while shorthanded for a set up to break the "goose-egg" with 3 minutes left in the 3rd --- irritating the Devils bench !!!
BlackSharx have a huge game in their next Dec 15th match against Mah society ---- Sharx need a Win !!!!!!
