Following the final game Team Captain Gregg Campbell presented momentos to all players for the team getting the most wins in the regular season.
The Labatt Blue Team finished the season with an excellent
record of 20 Wins 5 Losses 1 Tie. Adding in the Tournament games the final record was 21 Wins 7 losses 1 Tie. The Greybeards were the Tournament Champs but the Blue Team prevailed in each game versus the Greybeards this season.

BLUE TEAM ENDS SEASON WITH WIN OVER GREYBEARDS

In the final game of the Sunday Night League Season the BLUE TEAM with benefit of great goaltending by Todd Gordon out-scored the GREYBEARDS 10-6. Gordon stopped 36 of 42 shots to earn the win. Gordon stopped break-aways by Juntila and Strom of the Greybeards & had numerous big saves.
Lance Czachor had 3 goals (Hat Trick) & 3 assists for a big 6 point game. Dave Lacoursiere 2 goals & 3 assists. Brian Pasterski with 2 goals & 1 assist. Ben Mason scored a goal on a strong shot in the slot. Jake Mangless had a goal on a rush to the net & Jake added an assist in the game. Steve Fischer with 1 goal & 1 assist. Kevin Curtin 2 assists. Duey Campbell 2 assists. Kevin Laurent & Gregg Campbell each added 1 assist to the effort.

Meet Olympian in Oshkosh

Meet Jinelle Zaug - Olympic Silver Medalist
Hi,
On April 10 I am hosting a hockey event in Oshkosh to raise money and awareness for breast cancer causes. I've attached our event poster and some articles that have recently run in the Oshkosh paper.
Our big draw for the event is that Jinelle Zaug is coming with her Olympic Silver Medal for autographs, photos, and to play in the game. If you could help by spreading the word, especially to the girls/women's hockey crowd we would very much appreciate it.

BLUE TEAM SKATES TO WIN OVER SLOWPOKES

The Blue Team played a strong game with hard skating and crisp passing and prevailed with a 9 - 6 victory over the Slowpokes. Todd Gordon had a shut-out going to about the mid-point of the game but Jeff Funke found the net and that got the Slowpokes started on a come-back bid. The Slowpokes went on a scoring run to pull within 1 goal but then the Blue Team finished strong to take the game. Dave Lacoursiere scored 2 goals & 1 assist to reach the 100 point mark for the season. Lance Czachor scored a 3 goal hat trick & 2 assists. Czachor surpassed the 50 goal mark for the season. Kevin Curtin scored 1 goal & 1 assist. Ben Mason 1 goal. Brian Pasterski 1 goal & 1 assist. Duey Campbell 1 goal & 1 assist.
Steve Fischer with 3 assists. Gregg Campbell with 2 assists.
Gordon stopped 24 of 30 shots to earn the win.

Blue Team Drops Another Close Game to Orange Team

The Orange Team had a talented quick young goaltender in Eland Jr. and they got timely goals to get the win over the Beermen. Steve Fischer got the Blue Team on the scoreboard with a goal assisted by Prunty & Pasterski. Cullen Prunty tied the game at 2-2 on a strong move to pull away from defenders to score. Dave Lacoursiere scored on a breakaway set up by Fischer & Curtin. Duey Campbell out-manuevered defenders with a great rush to move in and score late in the game on a great effort. It was not enough as the Orange Team sealed it with goals on a couple of hard shots that got past goalie Gordon. Todd Gordon stopped 28 of 34 shots in the game.
This was game # 4 in 3 days over Tournament weekend and both teams played a lot of hockey this weekend.
