On wear a goofy jersey night to close out the 2011 -2012 Season, Labatt had a good all-around effort and skated to a 6 - 4 win over the Boozehounds. Scoring for Labatt: Pasterski assisted by Lacoursiere. Lacoursiere assisted by Nobles(hot shot from the point deflected in) & Pasterski. Duey Campbell assisted by Pasterski. Williams assisted by Lacoursiere & Pasterski. Duey Campbell assisted by Lacoursiere & Curtin. Lacoursiere assisted by D.Campbell & Litzsinger. Gordon with several great saves (many with a quick catching glove hand) to earn the win.

The Cornerstone Hockey Community - nay...The Hockey World is abuzz with speculation over the status of Jake "Rockstar Ninja Turtle" Mangless. He was seen playing for the Dead Wings then never checked in with the Labatt Blue Team. Might be someone gave him the Stink-eye from the bench.

MARCH 18, 2012
Tournament Game 3 for Labatt against the Beards was nearly a copy of Game 1 against the Pokes. A strong effort from both teams, close checking, good goal-tending. Each team with a Power-Play goal. Gordon to the bench for an extra skater the final minute but again the Beermen are edged out in a 3 -2 loss. A good showing by Labatt in the Tourney with one strong win and two narrow losses in games that could have gone the other way. Scoring for Labatt: Duey Campbell assisted by Lacoursiere. Mangless unassisted. Hon. Mention Doc Murphy with a strong defensive & offensive effort.

On St. Patrick's Day Labatt Doc "Irish Bob" Murphy swung his shillelagh. Leprechauns Duey Campbell with a Hat Trick & Super Shamrock-The-House Dave Lacoursiere with 4 points on a goal + 3 assists led the O'Blatt team in an 8 -2 Tournament game win. Goalie Todd "Pot O' Gold" Gordon played big to earn the win and end a 4 game losing skid for the Beermen. Labatt scoring: D.Campbell assisted by Lacoursiere & Williams. Litzsinger assisted by Lacoursiere. D. Campbell assisted by Williams. Pasterski put a quick shot in assist by Gregg Campbell's faceoff win. Lacoursiere assisted by Nobles. Prunty assisted by Mangless on a great effort. D.Campbell assisted by Lacoursiere. Fischer assisted by Prunty & Laurent.

TOURNEY GAME (1) SLOW POKES 3 LABATT BLUE TEAM 2

The Beermen will not be repeating as Champs this season as in the Tournament opener for Labatt the Slow Pokes took a 3-2 victory in a close tough game. Both goalies were sharp. Both teams got a power play goal. It was an even match all but for the Pokes getting the one extra winning score. For Labatt Lacoursiere scored assisted by Williams & Duey Campbell. It was Lacoursiere again directing in a shot by Prunty who had the assist on the power play. Gordon went to the bench in the final minute but the Pokes held on for the win. A good effort all around by both teams.
