Back in the Championship

At the start of the third the Bombers were staring down a 2 goal deficit against the Stripers in the second round of the playoffs. The Bombers scored 4 unanswered goal enroute to a 5-3 victory. Knowing the team needed a jump in the third, defenseman Paul Patrinicola did exactly that. He did the best thing he knew how and got ejected from the game. After the game Paul said, "Sometimes you gotta know when to take a game ejection to spark the team." Hats off to Joe Schlag for taking one for the team and serving the 10 minute penalty. Bombers are now in their second straight appearence in the Lower C Championship Game.
