"The Weyburn Pee Wee Crescent Point Wings attended a 16 team tournament in Bismarck, ND, on Dec. 9-11, and won it by defeating the Prairie Storm Thunder, in a thrilling overtime battle, by a score of 3-2. Joel Niemegeers notched the eventual game winner, but prior to that, the team was backstopped by outstanding goal tending by Josh Dubiel and supported by some excellent play by all the boys. The Wings played four games on the weekend.........the first, a 5-1 victory over the home team (the Bismarck Rangers), followed by a 10-1 shoot out against Devil's Lake, then a match against our league rivals (the Prairie Storm Lightning).....a "nail biting" win 4-2, before meeting up with yet another strong "Prairie Storm" squad the "Thunder" in the tournament finale. This year's team is coached by Kyle Niemegeers and Myron Junk, who not only had boys tuned up and ready to play at this big U.S. event, but have guided us to a 12-0 regular season (& 1st place standing) in the Regina Pee Wee Hockey league. The boys have really done us proud...........well done fella's! Good luck with the rest of the season!"

I double checked with Regina, and mouth guards are mandatory for ALL league games! Please have mouth guards ready as it’s a 2 minute penalty for each kid that goes on ice without. They don’t care what kind just that they are in the mouths of players.

Please review the website and feel free to give Nikki or Melanie any feedback you may have!! We plan on keeping the website up-to-date and available for use by the whole team. Just remind the boys that the stats are directly from the game sheets and sometimes the refs may make errors, they are only human!! So your child may miss out on getting a point for a goal or an assist, but the team still gets the goal and we are here for the TEAM!! We have a great group of boys, coaches and parents.....here's to a great year!!
