The Crusaders started the second season this past weekend with a couple hard fought battles
On Saturday, The Crusaders tied Orono 2-2 at the Legend Arena in Oshawa. Jackson played solid in net preserving the tie
On Sunday the Crusaders played well against Kawartha before giving up the first goal half way through the 3rd period. The Coyotes added an empty net goal to take the game 2-0. Great job by Alex in net and the defense did well with the penalty kill.
The Crusaders went up HWY 12 on Tuesday evening to face Sunderland where they took the game 3-1. Jackson played well in net, Bradley got his first goal which proved to be the winner and assisted on 2 others. Curtis added 2 goals to seal the win.
A rematch with Orono is scheduled for this Friday.
The Crusaders fought a tough battle in the second stage of the playdowns but were elimiated on Superbowl Sunday by Centre Hastings. Congratulations to the team from Marmora and good luck going forward.
The Crusaders begin the 2nd season on February 25th hosting Orono. The 2nd season has 10 games packed in less than 4 weeks time.
Get your skates sharpened - here we go again!

The Crusaders eliminated the Orono Leafs in the first round of the OMHA - Division CC Play Downs in 5 games.
After tying the first game and losing to Orono in the second game, the Crusaders came out strong as a team and beat Orono 3 straight to take the series.
The team was focused and did an excellent job back checking and passing to their team mates. Orono kept coming at the Crusaders, but were not successful at hitting the back of the net.
Congratulations Atom CC Crusaders!!! Keep playing and practicing as a team and get ready for an announcement on the 2nd round opponent.
Thanks to one of our sponsors - Mr. Sub's Wayne K for sporting his lucky hat to encourage the boys along!

The Crusaders finished off the regular season with a win over the Sunderland Red Wings 4-2.
The Crusaders benefited from extra practice and kept the puck deep in the Red Wings' end for a good part of the game.
Dane W opened the scoring and the Crusaders added 2 more by Curtis J and a fantastic goal by Matt M. Sam K moved up to forward and had a goal the ref didn't see! Jackson P was a rock in the net with a solid defensive outing from Bradley M, Matt C, Daniel T and Jackson C.
Get ready for the Playdowns! Orono in 3!!

The Crusaders had a good time at the PMHA Christmas Classic playing 4 games over two days.
Unfortunately, the Crusaders did not advance to the finals going 0-4 in the round robin. The Crusaders did play competitive games with several of the teams that they might face in the play downs.
The team had a great time at the arena and at East Side Marios loading up on Carbs and spending their Christmas loot
