Eagles have had a busy end to their regular season.
Playing back to back games against the Otonabee Wolves, the Eagles walked away with a win and a loss. Despite the Wolves #17 two great games of hockey were played.
Eagles took their first win over the Wolves on home ice with a final score of 4-3. Scoring for the Eagles were Kian, A.J, Matthew and Cameron. Assists went to Tayvis, Cameron, Brooklyn, Bryanna and Matthew. Aside from the penalties and body contact in a non-contact league, the Eagles proved to be the dominant team and were hungry for the win! The Eagles played excellent offense and defense as well as, Braeden playing an exceptional game in net!
The Eagles were off to Otonabee for the last league game of the season. After the roughness the Eagles experienced the day before from the Wolves, many shyed away from the play and were a little intimidated. Thus, ending in a 4-0 defeat for the Eagles.
The Eagles have had a great 2009/2010 Hockey season. From the beginning of the season till now, the Eagles are a TEAM! Hard work at practices and putting in 100% effort has certainly improved all players. Congratulations Eagles on a great season, you have all come a long way, learning your positions, passing and playing as a team.
Rest up Eagles as we will start our play off season shortly againt the Norwood Hornets.

It's Valentine's Day Eagles, let's bring on the win!
Love is in the air, let's show no mercy to the Lakefield Cheifs today.
Eagles have been busy spreading their love of hockey this weekend.
The Eagles were in Apsley friday evening for a great game, aside from the ref'ing it was a great effort by both teams. Many penalties were called that were unnecessary, Bench Minors for the Big ED and the Apsley coaching staff were truly entertaining. The Eagles never lost sight of their game and pulled off a 2-2 tie in Apsley. Goals going to Kasandra and Sam and an assist to Aiden. The entire team played great including Braeden in net, making many great saves. A re- match was scheduled for Saturday on home ice. With better refs the game was played and the Eagles were soaring to play. The Eagles were quick to get on the board with the first goal scored by Sam, assisted by Jayden and Matthew. Braeden held of Apsley for the entire first and second making many great glove saves. Eagles were determined to win, second goal going to Kasandra, assisted by Bryanna and A.J. Heading into the third, Eagles had a 2-0 lead. Apsley was quick to slid 2 in by Braeden to tie the game. Eagles were not going to settle for the tie. Matthew snuck in the game winning goal, after a great pass from Jayden. Kian secured the lead with a great shot ending the game in a 4-2 Win for the Eagles.
For Valentine's Day, let's spred the Eagles love for hockey all over the Lakefield rink! GO EAGLES GO!

This was a turning point for the Eagles as they held off the stars from taking the win. The "ENTIRE" Eagles team played with 100% team effort. The Eagles soared with great offensive and defensive plays. The Eagles passing and positioning showed their true team effort in this game.
Braeden was on his toes and played a fantastic game in net.
