NOODLES & COMPANY fundraiser for CORNERSTONE

Thursday, Dec. 10th, 2009, Noodles & Company will be doing a benefit for Cornerstone Community Ice Center in which they will donate 25% of their sales between the hours of 5PM til 9PM.
Effort To Bring Hockey Camp to Cornerstone

Past hockey camp attendees include Jeff Funke, Jeff Hillesheim, Steve Strom, Sean Eddy & Jake Mangless all attended the camp in Buffalo and had a great experience. Dave Siegel & Ben Finco have also attended in the past and both said the camp was very worthwhile.
$675 Camp fee for professional instruction, ice time and travel expenses for the coaches and you get 12 hours of ice, a jersey, socks, t-shirt & a water bottle. The good news is to commit you only have to send in $200. If the camp doesn’t happen, you are refunded your money so really there’s no risk.
This camp is what’s called “game strategy” so we’ll all be learning positioning, break-outs, face-offs, penalty-killing, etc.
Also, they don’t screw around on the ice. It’s full on practice. It’s tough. You will be tired, worn out and beat down so you’ll need to take vacation time during the camp to attend…and recuperate.

Steve Strom attends Hockey Camp in Buffalo

Errin Kolden, Jeff Funke, Jeff Hillesheim, Steve Strom, Sean Eddy & Jake Mangless all attended hockey camp in Buffalo this past June.
Steve Strom demonstrated some of the skills he learned at camp during a summer game .
Among the drills were skating the alphabet and stick flex snap shooting. We salute Steve, Jake, and the guy with the broken arm and all their mighty hockey efforts.
