We have received our Round #2 Shamrock Playdown Schedule...

Saturday, March 1st, 2008 – HOME game vs Dorchester (6:15 pm)

Tuesday, March 4th, 2008 – AWAY game in Dorchester (7:00 pm)

Saturday, March 8th, 2008 – HOME game vs South Huron (6:15 pm)

Tuesday, March 11th, 2008 – AWAY game at Stephen Township Arena/South Huron (7:30 pm)

As you can see, this is a Home and Home, Round Robin Series – one 30 second time-out per team/per game. There is NO overtime.

Please note our 7 am PRACTICE for next Monday has been cancelled/removed from our Schedule.

Our OMHA Playoff Game (that night) versus Dorchester is STILL ON -- 6:30 game time -- in Lambeth.

Also, it doesn't look like we'll be participating in the Young Canada Goderich Tournament... so we'll keep our eyes open for another tournament that meets our needs/conditions.

The initial Round of OMHA Playdowns has just been released.

FYI, we are in a round-robin format, w/the TOP TWO TEAMS moving on to a 4 point series that must be completed by Feb. 10th! The top team then moves on to the quarter-finals.

Sunday, January 13th - AWAY GAME in Strathroy (5:00 pm vs. Strathroy)

Monday, January 21st - HOME GAME in Lambeth (6:30 pm vs. Dorchester)

Sunday, January 27th - AWAY GAME in Mt. Brydges (6:00 pm vs. Mt. Brydges)

Saturday, February 2nd - HOME GAME in Lambeth (6:15 pm vs. St. Mary's)

I would like to take a moment to CONGRATULATE each member of the Lambeth Peewee AE team. Boys, you did a great job!!!

This past weekend saw victories over AYR, MOORETOWN, CALEDONIA and INGERSOLL -- enroute to the semi-finals vs. ST. MARY's.

Losing at any time is a tough thing, but to lose in overtime of a semi-final game is nothing to be ashamed about! It was a great weekend of hockey -- you made us very proud!

Dear Parents & Players:

This is just a reminder that post-game drinks are being provided each and every game by the Russell family. (DRINKS are $1.00 per).

However (in the past few games) we've noticed a number of the drinks are left in the cooler as kids don't have a loonie with them and/or they're just not being purchased.

So, consider this your reminder -- if kids want post-game fluids... please bring your loonies!!!
