Parents vs the Gilrs Grudge match - Saturday march 31

Attention all parents, it is time to get your skates sharpened and your tin foil on your knuckles as we take on those feisty Markham Stouffville Stars B girls!
Coach Mark and anyone parent that can hold a stick and stand on two blades is leading the attack on Saturday March 31, 2012 at the Stouffville Clippers Arena... this 90 minute knockdown will be intense as the parents battle for the famous Easter Bunny Trophy... the losers take home the Chicken...
Attention parents, Minimum equipment for is helmet (with visor or cage), elbow pads, gloves. A stick and skates may also prove useful for some. Shin pads are recommended ('cause the girls are little hackers!).
Atom B players wear full equipment.
Please let Caroline and I know whether you are planning to play.
For now we'll limit it to parents only. We'll consider adding siblings once we see how many parents are available.
Game On... look out girls the parents are coming!!!!

What a fun Markham Stars Christmas get together we had yesterday!
The party was fun and the girl now have matching team numbered necklaces and soon some new gear!

Great Photos form the St Catherines Tournament

The St Catherines tournament was a blast with some stiff competition and one amazing big win! The girls all played well and the coaching staff gets to keep their jobs!
The party life at Niagara Falls was fun and it looks like everyone had a great time. Thanks to Coach Mark and his crew for organizing a fantastic tournament including the weather!
On the way out Anthony organized a great plan and got everyone still at the tournament to put in $20 and we purchased the complete set of professional photos of all 4 games. Tony has a list of who has paid and will chase everyone down still yet to pay... Grant is burning a disc for everyone and the photos are fantastic!
Here's to more fun action on and off the ice!

BRING YOUR HOCKEY POOLS IN THIS FRIDAY

Sales of the Stars Hockey Pool fund raiser has been going strong and the NHL Season is on, so we want to get all of the entries in and loaded and see who really understands hockey.
Is it going to be Coach Mark's strategically planned team of NHL Superstars that will rank in the points or maybe it will be Alana's mom & sister team that was based only on who were the best looking players that grabs the big prize? Time will tell...
So if everybody could please bring in all of your cash and complete Stars Hockey Pool forms to this Friday's practice and let's get this Pool running!
