Mendham took on the Kinnelon Colts on Wednesday night in search of their first Halversen win, only to settle with a 5-5 tie. The contest was highlighted by Ryan Bruin's three goals, his second Hat Trick of the year, followed up by a Stefan Michura goal and Freshman Dillon Abend's first career scholastic goal.
Tanner Brown played his stellar self and turned away 48 shots.

The Mendham Hockey Community had come together on a frigid Saturday morning to almost completely fill the donation box truck with clothes, toys, CD's and bicycles that will be sent off to be used by others that are less fortunate.
A special thanks to Karen Ferrone for spearheading today's event, Ronell Michura for partnering us up with Kohl's Department Stores and to all the players and families that helped to collect, organize and load the donations.
Our Players were lead by Captains Tanner Brown, Brian Crooker and Dustin Ferrone and assisted by Joe Pallis and Tim Tamboowalla.

Mendham beat Nutley 6-4 to snap its eight game losing streak and send the Minutemen into 2018 with a taste of victory.
Jake Marszalek notched five of the six goals (his 12th on the year) and had an assist in the other goal scored by Jordan Larrabee, who collected his first Varsity Goal of his career and also helped out on one of the goals by Marszalek. Tanner Brown continues to deny opponents by making 56 saves on 60 shots.
Prior to the Nutley game, Mendham played well against last year's NJ Public A State Champion Runner-up Watchung Hills, even though they lost 9-1, the team was tied 1-1 late into the 2nd Period on a goal by Marszalek, when WH responded with eight unanswered goals.
The team battled Verona the next night and took an early one goal lead, the first of two on the night by Marszalek. Verona responded with two quick goals to take a 2-1 lead heading into the Second. Neither team could score in the middle frame, but Verona scored early in the third to give them a 3-1 lead. Mendham came back swinging with Marszalek scoring his 2nd of the night to cut the lead to 3-2. With the goalie pulled, the Minutemen pounded several shots but could not secure the equalizer and the Verona team was able to score an empty netter with 5 seconds remaining.
