"Coming together is a beginning. Keeping together is progress. Working together is success."
This weekend has inspired us all. Coming into our last tournament, our expectations for the Challenge Cup was to be competitive with the teams in our division. Every Phantom showed us all what it means to be a Phantom...hard work, endless deterimination, perserverance and teamwork. They were rewarded as everything came together with a 1st place finish in their division. This meant a bye into the GOLD medal game against a strong Westside Flyers team. We'd been blown out by this team twice in exhibition but we had nothing to lose and everything to gain to show everyone how far these boys had come in 3 short months. They gave it their all and battled hard each and every shift. They played as a team, trusted in each other, and never gave up. Final score was a respective 4-2 loss.
Standing ovation for this talented young group of hockey players who played with heart and never once gave up in their journey this spring. Phantoms, you are one amazing bunch and have accomplished more than we ever expected in this short season.
Congratulations!

The Phantoms battled hard in the Spring Sizzler tournament. They finished the round robin in third place and lost to the skilled Westside Flyers team in the semi final. The boys had a great time, worked hard and did the best they could. It's amazing to see the progression and how far they have come as a team. Way to go Phantoms!

The Phantoms faced some incredible competition in their first tournament in Kamloops. The boys played hard, never gave up and gave it their absolute best. Best of all, they became a team and got significantly better with every game. The coaches were so proud of these boys who have already come such a long way since the beginning of March. Great things to come from these Phantoms!!
