Game 2 of the Co-Ed Tournament was a Barn Burner. The Pelicans grabbed a 2 - 0 lead but Point come back to tie the game. It appeared it would end in a tie but Pelican Defensemen saw an opportunity to hit the open Center to try for a winning goal. Trouble is that a Point forward saw it as an opportunity to steal the pass and with a very quick move the Point forward stole the pass and put in a buzzer beater winning shot with 1 second on the clock. The net snapped and the horn sounded. It was a tough loss for the Birds but still a good competitive game and great effort by all. Scoring for Pelicans:
Lautenschlager assisted by Rentmeester. Rentmeester assisted by Lautenschlager.

Don Lautenschlager got the big late goal to get the Pelicans the tie. The actual score may have been a 4 -4 draw as Andy Juntila of the Greybeards appeared to score on a quick in quick out shot off the top shelf of the net inside the crossbar.
