2nd Annual Golf Tournament - Fundraiser

8:00 a.m. tee-off (7:00 a.m. check-in)
Annandale Golf and Country Club
Church St. / Bayly St. Ajax
$95 pp. Incl.18 holes, cart and bbq lunch, prizes, 50/50 draw, putting contest......
We are asking each family to sell a minimum of 1 foursome. Balance of tickets are first come first serve !!
The golf organizers would appreciate some help in gathering prizes.

Congratulations Raiders !
Our 1st bottle drive was a success raising $1253.90 + $37.50 from our 1st 50/50 draw for a total of $1291.40.
If anyone still has not submitted their money, please contact Manager Jeff.
Thanks to everyone for coming out to the pool party, it was great to see all the players and their families !!

It's never too early to start asking about sponsorships !! We had great success last year, and it would be awesome if we could repeat it !!

Team & League Paperwork - message from Manager Jeff

Hi everyone,
We’re looking forward to another amazing year with the Durham Raider’s. Welcome to all the new players and their families and welcome back to everyone returning from last year’s team. We can hardly wait to get started.
There are a number of things that need to be addressed before you come to the team BBQ at coach Grant’s house on July 12. The team and league are getting started on financing right away. All costs to the league will be collected and paid by the team which necessitates us collecting fees from the parents. Our league installments are due on July 15, Oct. 15 and Jan. 15.
In order to get most of the paperwork out of the way early we would ask parents to bring the following to the BBQ on July 12;
Ø A photocopy of your son’s birth certificate and health card.
Ø Three post-dated cheques made out to “Durham Raiders Hockey Team” for $317 each. They should be post-dated July 12, 2008, October 5, 2008 and January 5, 2009.
Ø Any money raised during the bottle drive (feel free to collect the bottles any time between now and the BBQ).
Ø Any sponsorship money raised for the team.
We also will require you and your son to fill out codes of conduct, medical forms and the player’s cards the day of the BBQ.
If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me. I can’t wait to see everyone at the BBQ.
