2018-19 Hockey Season

Posted by: Ronald Lafond on Sat Oct 06th 2018 11:41am

Hello everyone,

I would like to introduce myself. My name is Ron Lafond and I will be the manager of your child’s hockey team this year. We are looking forward to the upcoming season starting with the practice scheduled for Sunday, October 7th @ 6:00pm. We are hoping to play in a couple of tournaments in the upcoming season starting with the Schumacher Tournament on November 23rd to the 25th, 2018. We will need to get started with gathering funds for the season. Here are some of the proposed cost for the upcoming season:

Schumacher Tournament November 23rd to 25th, 2018: $800.00
East Nipissing Tournament - January 18th to 20th, 2019: $995.00
Game Stickers and printing etc...: $75.00 - $100.00
Name Bars: $350.00

To raise funds for these items we have a few options.

Sponsorship Bars: $200.00 for both jerseys. Home/Away ($100.00 each jersey) would give us $3400.00. Which would cover the entire season.

Team Sponsor: Local sponsor of $2000.00 or co-sponsors of $1000.00 willing to sponsor the team as a whole.

No other fundraising would be necessary either way.

We must act quickly because we need to get the bars on the jerseys.

Also we will need volunteers for Trainer and Assistant Coaches. If you have some certification let us know if you are interested.

We will discuss these topics at tomorrow's practice.

Thank you,

Ron Lafond
