End of Pre-Season

We are now offically done with our pre-season/exhibition games. Our regular season begins next weekend. The Thunder boys start off the season with the A division's heavy hitters San Jose on Saturday and Santa Clara 1A on Sunday - it should be an exciting weekend.
Our Wine raffle deadline has been extended until Monday October 24th. Sell those tickets as we are all looking forward to our up coming tournaments in Phoenix and LA.
Great job to all the Capital Thunder Squirts in the pre-season - we are looking forward to more of the same in the regular season!

San Jose wins 3-1

The Thunder boys played the San Jose Squirt A team tonight and while they did not win the game, the played very well and all in attendance were proud of their effort. Jackson did an outstanding job in goal with 43 shots on goal. Great effort by all! tomorrow the boys will be taking on the San Francisco SaberCats - good luck boys!

Thunder strikes in Santa Rosa

In an early morning game on Sunday the Capital Thunder Squirt team showed everyone they were ready to play. The team played against a strong squad from Santa Rosa, but the Thunder boys dominated the game early on and only allowed the boys from Santa Rose to take 13 shots on goal the entire game. The final score of the game was 5-0, with goals being credited to Sean Phillips (2), Hunter Getchel, Griffin Genobaga and Alex Boyko.
