Tsunamis play well in Port Alberni Tournament

The Tsunamis finished the Port Alberni Tournament and their season with a victory over the Victoria Ice Hawks 7-1 capping a strong showing in the Tournament which included a 3-3 tie against the Nanaimo Ice Breakers and a close loss 4-3 to the Port Hardy Hawks.
Good Tournament at Oceanside Place

We didn't throw our hats on the ice!!!
The home tournament at Oceanside Place went well and the kids had fun playing in front of family and friends. The highlight was the victory over the Cowichan Valley Vipers on Monday 10-3.
Tsunamis Loose a tough one in the playoffs

Daniel B
The Tsunamis played a hard fought playoff game in a loosing effort to the Nanaimo Phantoms 7-2. The score was close until the 3rd period. Daniel B had a strong game and so did Colton D. Both scored goals in the 2nd period.

Shelby T
The Tsunamis ran out of gas against the Nanaimo Clippers in an 8-5 loss. With a short bench the team could not sustain the early momentum and were unable to get more goals due to some key saves from the Clippers goaltender. Shelby T made some nice outlet passes and had some good positional play in the loss.

Cole B
Another hard fought game against the Nanaimo Phantoms with the final score 4-2 for the Phantoms. The Tsunamis battled hard in spite being short some players. Cole B had a strong game in goal and Daniel B let the way with a goal and an assist.
