Playoffs run from Saturday, March 6 to Tuesday, April 13
Championship Day April 17 @ Sensplex
Blackouts:
March Break Friday, March 19 through to and
including
Friday, March 19
Kanata Tourney Friday, March 26 through to and including
Sunday March 28
Teams will be expected to play on March 20 & 21 - the second week-end of March Break.
Weekend of January 30/31 - ice reminders, schedule & skate sharpening

The Ottawa tournament schedule just came out this morning. I have added the times to the schedule (attached) plus we now have a practice on the 7th. Updates in red. Since we have 2 games down town on Friday, I will probably arrange an early lunch somewhere…. hopefully that works for everybody.
Also, if you need to get any skates sharpened in the next week, please read on.

HI Folks,
There is a fundraising effort here in Ottawa for the family of a recreational hockey player who was paralyzed in a freak on ice accident a few weeks ago.

All four Sport Experts in Ottawa are donating all the proceeds from skate sharpening until Feb 7th. If you need to have the kids blades sharpened, or your own , you might want to keep this fundraiser in mind. Perhaps the Coaches could forward the info out to their teams?

Sat 4.30pm game (home = white) @ Ice House B – Bradey / Baak to run the clock
Sun 1.30pm game (away = blue) @ Ice House B
See attached for the latest schedule with the addition of the practice on 27th Dec, assuming it’s a go…. Jamie please confirm.
As usual, please let Jamie know if you can’t make either game.

Fri Xmas party – 5pm @ Broadway, Stittsville. 7pm @ Ultimate Cheer, 119 Iber Road (at the end of the building, furthest from the road)
Girls should wear indoor runners, shorts & t-shirt for cheering.
Sat 4:30pm game (home = white) @ Ice House B (Nimz & Baak to run the clock)
Sun 5:15pm practice @ Sensplex - Citizen
I still need a few cheques, but I think you know who you are!
I will bring hockey tickets for 1 Jan with me (promise ïŠ) on all 3 days.

- Money for 1 Jan game - $14.09 / ticket (Albert, Howell, Nimz)
- Numbers for Xmas dinner on the 11th (Biggs, Bush, Hirkala, Howell, Millar, Moore & Nimz)
- Book your hotel room in Kingston before next Wednesday (Albert, Biggs, Brown (booked with other team?), Bush, Millar)
