Devils lose in Shoot-out Finale

The Devils captured game 1 and lost game 2 of there championship weekend to force a 1 min overtime and an eventual shoot-out. TheJjets on there last shooter scored giving them the game and the championship.
The Devils will now rest up in the off-season and get ready for next year. The parents and players thank all the coaches for there time and dedication and wish them the best during the off-season.

Championship Weekend

The Devils are ready to compete in Championship Weekend as part of the C final against the Jets. The two game series starts on Friday night and concludes on Saturday morning with the winner crowned the champ. The two game series works with 2 points for a win, 1 point for a tie, most points after the 2 game series takes the championship. If the series is tied it comes down to goals for to determine the winner.
Fans lets get out there and show our support for the boys. Let's be loud and finish the season on a winning note.

Big Bad Blackhawks beat Devils in final playoff game

The Devils game up a little short in there final playoff game before Championship Weekend. The Blackhawks handed the Devils a hard fought 4-3 loss on Saturday afternoon. Cameron, Lewis and Michael all had goals and a strong defensive effort by Guevara , Blenkin ,MacClean, Sawyer and Darwiche was still not enough. A questionable cross-checking call against Justin in the second also contributed to a Hawks power play goal that got the hawks offense and momentum going. A goal late in the third sealed it for the hawks after a few missed penalty calls by the referees against several Hawks forwards.
The results from the rest of the weekends action will determine which teams end up in which Championships. The Devils appear to be headed for the B Final for a rematch against the Nightmares.

Devils lose a heartbreaker to the Nightmares

The Devils took a tough loss to the Whitby Nightmares in there second to last playoff game. Lewis Goodison had 2 shorthanded goals to lead the Devils offense but the team could not match #5 Curtis Marche on the Nightmares. Marche scored 3 times including the game winner in the third to hand the Devils the loss. The Devils still have a chance for the championship but will need a win this Saturday against the Blackhawks and get some help from some other teams.
The Devils will leave it all the ice and hope for some help heading into championship weekend next week. GO DEVILS GO!!!!!
Devils beat the undefeated Storm for big win!

The undefeated season of the Whitby Storm has come to an end at the hands of the Devils. The Devils only needed a second period goal from Michael Saunders to secure a win. Liam Stuart turned away everything thrown his way to post his most important win of the season for the team. Strong defensive play by Sawyer, Guevara, Blenkin and Maclean also played a key role in the win. Coach Dave gave the entire team the golden jersey after the game and was heard yelling Wooooa entering the dressing room at games end.
The Whitby Nightmares are up next for the Devils and a win will strengthen the teams position heading into there final game of the play-offs. LET'S GO DEVILS!!!!!
