Why did Buffalo decide to trade Jack Eichel?

Eikel is the No. 2 Connor McDavid 2015 NBA Draft. In fact, a player comparable in talent, who had to save the team and pull it out from the very bottom. It didn’t work out – “Buffalo”, having made a triple somersault, lands in a pile of manure and starts all over again.
We have already talked about the global problems of the club, but in addition to the thirst for victories, Jack had a conflict related to his health. Eikel earned a herniated disc, which is why he ended the 2020/2021 season ahead of schedule and turned to the club’s management about the operation – he wanted to resort to replacing the intervertebral disc with an artificial one, which had never been done in the NHL before, but the operation was successfully performed by athletes from the NFL.

In “Buffalo” they did not want to experiment – the club insisted on treatment that would lead to fusion on the damaged part of the spine without implantation of an artificial disc. As a result, Jack did not come to the training camp, changed his agent, and was deprived of the captain’s patch. The club attracted neutral doctors and the NHL trade union to the showdown, but a solution to the conflict was found only now.
